I am your host Cavit (Javid) Onen, I speak both English and French fluently and of course Turkish. I was born and was working in Istanbul "the biggest village in Turkey", I am an IT professional and I was working in the technology field of computers. I came to Dalyan for a short visit and fell in love with the natural beauty of the area, the open space to breathe, the people and the way of life. When I returned to Istanbul, my heart and soul were left behind I knew I had to return to the place I wanted to live for the rest of my life. So I came back and bought Myra Motel the place where a dream began that is now reality.

Myra offers you excellent BB (Bed and Breakfast) and HB (Half Board) accommodation a very warm welcome with privacy, intimacy and the best of service. Relax and settle into the comfortable surroundings - a blend of modern architecture and fittings with a warm country influence of rich natural timbers and earthy colours. The motel has its own good sized garden with young palm trees, plants, tall fruit trees and an amazing view across the emerald coloured river teeming with fish and tall reed beds full of ducks and frogs a natural paradise. You can watch eagles, storks and cranes circling overhead on the warm thermals of air, see dragonfly's darting back and forth, feed the sea turtles, ducks and fish in the mornings with the swallows winging their way over Myra's gardens onto the river to catch insects. With plenty of shade from the tall leafy trees in the gardens, relax in the breeze, watch the fish jumping or even try to catch a few yourself on our riverside or by boat. To end a wonderful day, your supper is prepared on the barbecue, grilled fish and meat.
Directly on the opposite bank of the river are the Lycian Kings Rock Tombs, have you seen how beautiful they are? Set in the lush pine clad hillside don't just pass by them on a boat trip stopping for a few minutes, come and spend your holiday with us, feel their different moods as the light falls on them till the sun sets gently at the end of the day. As the moon rises you can almost touch the stars they truly hang like jewels. In the soft illumination of the Lycian Kings Rock Tombs end the day with a romantic dinner.
Breathe the wonderful air it has a restful quality one of peace and tranquility that descends on your body as you sit on the riverside in Myra's gardens. If you have been working too hard or are just feeling the stress of a busy life, feel the layers of tiredness just melt away, with the personal service, good food, for you the warm smell from our kitchens will always be a welcome.
Here for a short holiday but the memories are to keep forever. We know you will never want to leave, that like myself you will always want to come back....
